Dr. Gowing is a graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry and a native Coloradan excited to provide eye care to the Golden community.
Dr. Gowing graduated with distinction from the doctoral program at Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon after completing her dual Bachelor’s degree in both Biochemistry and Sociology at University of Colorado Boulder.
As a Type 1 Diabetic, she recognizes the important relationship between our eyes and the rest of the body which pushes her to provide the best health care for her patients. Because she was regularly seeing doctors her whole life, she values the relationship between a health care provider and their patient, and looks forward to building relationships with her patients in Golden.In her spare time, Dr. Gowing enjoys exploring Colorado (her native state!), hiking, reading, catching up on the latest TV shows and movies, golfing, and spending time with her significant other and their dog.
